I try to get my kids a cool new advent calendar every year and this one looks like it will not disappoint. The characters look fun and the cost was reasonable for what you get.

The DC Funko Advent Calendar came well packed and was shipped quickly. The Box was in great condition, which is a plus for me because I'm an in box collector. The Calendar is a little pricey around 40 bucks but that seems to be the going rate with most retailers. I love DC Funko stuff and if you have funko fan within your friends or family I think they will enjoy it as well 4 out 5

You get 24 pocket sized Funko Pops. The outside packaging looks good. They changed the inside packaging though from the ones they made in the past. The pops are no longer inside dark colored plastic bags. They are inside rigid clear packaging, like the full size pops are in their boxes. They can be difficult to get them out of the main box. As to the pops themselves, it's a really mixed bag. First off, there are a lot, and I mean a lot, of duplicates. I really don't consider alternate paint jobs to be different enough. They have some of the seasonal ones, like the Christmas Sweater Superman, in pocket form, along with Scrooge Batman, Reindeer Flash, and Christmas Light Lasso Wonder Woman(you get two of these, one has the glitter "diamond" paint job). These four are also available in a 4-pack from Funko for $20, with slightly different paint jobs (the Batman Scooge's cap doesn't have stripes and Wonder Woman isn't metallic, and I really couldn't see a difference with Superman and the Flash). They also did two Santa Jokers with different paint jobs, and two Penguin Snowmen. There are two Christmas Shazzams (paint jobs). The worst is the Gingerbread Cookie ones, they have the regular ones in small form, but then they included three that are what I can only describe as burnt cookie variants. There is one really great blue translucent variant of the Joker as Jack Frost, but the pocket version of the normal one was included as well. The most original one was the Christmas version of the Parademon. I really liked the Diamond Holiday Harley Quinn as well. All in all, these were the same complaints that I had with last year's Marvel Advent Calendar and some of the Harry Potter ones too (but there they don't do it in the same calendar, but do repeat in separate years). I also wonder why the Flash ones came with clear bases so they can stand better, but the other ones didn't (except for the ones that are supposed to be flying). These things are too heavy and when they fall, they usually take other ones down with them, making displaying them a headache. As a parting thought, you do get a bunch of pops for the price, but some originality would have been much appreciated.
