Last minute purchase for guest coming to visit didn't want to go way over budget for something as simple as coffee making. Right out of the box(after washing of course) I was able to get fresh hot coffee with no issues. The drip works great as I followed the instructions inside of the box. It's pretty fool proof. Easy, fast, good coffee, easy clean up and doesn't take up too much counter space. After using this coffee maker I visited a friend who uses a more fancy coffee maker and the coffee was awful. Watery, bland, warm not hot coffee. I was so happy to come home to my affordable and reliable coffee maker. For the price I'm definitely in the winners chair. I will note that I forget to turn it off but surprisingly it doesn't burn the coffee or the pot. I'd recommend purchasing a grinder and using fresh coffee. Also I got my free frother gift in the mail from the Mueller and now I'm feeling like a whole coffee snob and loving every cup! ðŸ˜ðŸ'Œ

I've had several coffee makers over the years and I find this one to be very easy to work with. It does the job well as it makes coffee fairly fast.

Meet the overall expectations. Nothing wrong with the coffee maker.
The Coffee drips nicely, and stay warm for long time. The only problem is machine turn on light is so faint that it is hard to figure out whether it is still working or not.

I bought this because I started a PhD program and was moving out on my own for the first time. It's a cheap coffee maker, so you can't expect all of the bells and whistles that more expensive machines will get you. It is easy to clean, and it is actually pretty quiet. It's more quiet than some of the others my parents have had. It only has one function - brew and then keep warm. I do wish it had an auto shut off function. There have been a couple times in the almost month I've been using it that I've made the mistake of leaving it on. Nothing has caught on fire or anything, but it's a good thing to keep in mind. I personally use disposable coffee filters in conjunction with the machine's permanent filter. I find it makes clean up simpler. One design flaw (that doesn't really bother me too much) is when you open the lid after you make coffee, condensation falls down the lid and often times rolls off onto the back of the machine itself. I could see this potentially being dangerous if it's too close to electrical outlets or other pieces of equipment. Otherwise though, it does what I need it to.

Trying to get a simple coffee maker that I can control from Alexa enabled power switch is hard to find. Many simple makers have a soft switch which requires hitting when power is applied, so can't use it.. others have timers or other things that get in the way. This Mueller coffee maker has a simple hard switch which means it's on when it's on and is perfect for our needs.
Temp is nice and warm and gets great flavor out of our freshly ground coffee.
Is easy to clean - we've a routine of running a vinegar mix through our coffee machines every 3 months and it's simple to do this here since the lid fully opens to expose the water chamber. Is important to line up the basket holder and then push down until you hear a click to lock the lid in place - a useful reminder to ensure the basket is in place..
Discarded the permanent filter and use paper baskets - so can't comment on it's quality.
Overall this coffee maker meets our expectations and needs, and at a fraction of the cost of other machines.
