Very Surprised How nice they are

I knew these were disassembled, similar assembled doors are over $1500, but I was really worried about them getting here intact and being hard to put together. They are packed well so there was no damage even though the exterior box was dinged and several straps broken. They took almost no time to put together and they look really nice.
Just some things to note for home do-it-yourselfers trying to save money. These doors (and most barn door kits frankly) are made to go into a "new" install that has framing and "thin" casings all intended for barn doors. These kits include "drywall fasteners". These fasteners don't really work for barn doors and typically will either spin out when you try to tighten them or pull them out. Also if you were able to get them to stay in and you are using existing door casing the bolts on the door hardware are going to rub the trim and you won't be able to open and close the doors. In my case, I 3d printed special drywall mounts and then countersunk the bolt heads so they were flush, but for most people, the easiest solution is to install a "header" board first. Get a 1x2 board that will go the whole length of the rail and install it to the studs over the door, and then attach the rail to that header. That will solve the drywall fastener issue and the clearance issue. You will have about an inch gap between the trim and the door for bolt clearance which was undesirable for me, hence the countersunk bolts and special fasteners. I STRONGLY recommend you do NOT use the drywall fasteners included with these doors. IF you are able to get at least 2 of the bolts to go into actual wall studs you may be able to get away with using a few of the drywall fasteners, IF you can get them to take.
The doors themselves are great and a great value, just be prepared for the install.

Fairly easy to put together and install. I suggest buying a separate soft close for it. The packaging was done very well and glass came without damage. I actually bought two to make a double barn door.
