Connected to a third brake light and worked very good. lots of options in the way the lights flash.. it was also nice to get the alligator clips to test and set up the flasher

I would recommend having someone with skill install this. Mainly because it could take some time finding the correct wires. Very stable circuit and would recommend for anyone looking for just a little extra noticeably when braking.

Ordered one of these for my 2022 Ford Explorer. Came in and could not get it into programming mode. Nothing would happen when touching the white wire to the ground.
Contacted customer service by email and got a response within a week. They sent me a new one and installed it today. Works perfectly!
I cut the power supply (yellow in this case) and connected the red wire to the part that is coming from the car, then the yellow to the plug connector. Then splice the black with black. The white was covered with a heat shrink and placed aside.

I purchased two of these to install on third brake light circuits for my wife's Mazda 5 minivan and my Mitsubishi Lancer. Upon receiving them, I noticed that the package is small, and was surprised that it came with 3 alligator clips cables, some bullet connectors and a vampire clip.

The unit itself is quite small and has all three wires coming from just one side. It differs from other cheaper units that are non-programmable and have two wires on each side of the unit. I find those cheaper units to be more intuitive to connect, but the manual to connect this unit is clear enough (you have to visit their website).

Installation difficulty will depend on your DYI experience and will vary from car to car. I recommend watching some videos on how to install these, to get a general idea. It's not that hard but some ability and experience is a plus. The whole install process took me 2-3 hours, but I actually spent more time figuring out how to remove the interior panels of the car and where I wanted to place the unit, than connecting the cables.

For a professional looking install, you'll want to add some heat shrink tubing, cloth tape to cover the wires and VHB double sided tape.

Also, both my cars show close to 24 volts on the third brake light circuit, but the unit works.

The media could not be loaded. Works good but is a little touchy to program. The default flash rate is pretty quick. I wanted it slower so I pre-configured mine on a bench with a 12v supply before installing it. It's on the center brake light of a '23 Chevy Bolt EUV. Hopefully this will be an attention-getter for the drivers behind us (BOLT's have crappy brake light placement!).

I don't care for the vampire connections that came with it. You can see in the pic I used waterproof electrical connectors that should hold up a little better. Easy install for me. Seems to work well.
