It lifted, maneuvered, and lowered slow and smooth. The Giant issue was the lack of clear instructions. The seat was very frustrating to sort out. It was so complicated that I would not purchase this product again. If you don't mind trying to find way to rig the Seay then I would whole heartedly recommend the purchase. I personally think it was a poor decision to send a product out with the dodgy instructions.

After very careful review of all available options, we selected this item for the smartly engineered and versatile seat and smooth, effortless electric motion for my father. While waiting for the product, my father's health rapidly declined making the use of this problematic. The user must have enough core strength left to sit upright (as clearly stated in the description.). Since our circumstances changed and we weren't able to use, they immediately responded and offered a full refund with free return. They went above and beyond asking if there was anything else they could do to assist us. Very professional. Very prompt. Very helpful and accommodating.
