I was surprised how will it worked snorkeling in the open ocean. Just don't free dive to deep Only issue I hand was cave snorkeling in a cave at 72 degrees F. Continued to fog up every few minutes. But my normal mask did as well. Once I used antifog it did better. Two thumbs ðŸ‘ðŸ‘

My husband has Alzheimer's and struggled with the mask & snorkel I bought him, so I decided to try the full face mask/snorkel combo. We tested it in the pool and he did great! The biggest problem was taking the snorkel off to pack the mask for our cruise. I followed the instructions over and over and couldn't get it off. I thought I was going to break it! So I watched a google video and was able to get it off and it didn't break! I was able to do the same on the cruise - the mask worked great!

This mask makes it a little more difficult to dive due to the increased amount of air inside of it. That said, snorkeling on the surface is basically like having your face in a life jacket"¦ you're totally buoyant, and it's incredibly relaxing and provides an amazing view.
My partner and I just used these at Devil's Bay on Virgin Gorda, BVI, and it was one of the most amazing experiences of our lives.
I would also recommend having flippers and maybe some additional goggles as an alternative for any trip, but for snorkeling, this really is hard to beat. Very rarely leaks too!

This mask works great. I bought one for myself and my 8 year old daughter before a trip to Panama City, Florida. The fit was perfect...no water ever seeped in when placed properly, which isn't hard to do. All you have to do is breath normally, and I never felt like I was gasping for air. The snorkel seems well placed, and I never had an issue with it taking water. If you dive below the surface, the mechanism closes off just like its supposed to.
Never had it fog up like other masks, even though I didn't use any anti-fogger solution. The view is pretty amazing...it's like seeing another world beneath the water. If you just stay on the tourist beach, there's nothing much to see, but we visited shell Island, and these were well worth the price. They would be perfect for a Hawaii trip where there's lots to see underwater.
These masks are great. No complaints, and I highly recommend to anyone who wants to snorkel without a hose in their mouths.
