My new go-to pin for pizza

To be honest, I was a little disappointed at first by how light this was. I had been using wood rolling pins all my life and was used to having the feel of that weight in hands. It didn't take long to realize that weight didn't matter with this. The flat surface is nice and wide and easily covered the 10 to 12 inch pizza crusts. It's nice to use my hands to roll instead of side handles. I feel like there's more control when wanting to move a specific part of the dough to get a round edge. At just over a 1 1/2 inch roll, it feels smaller than most other rolling pins, but it is comfortable in my hands, and as a bonus, it fits perfectly into the channel of my cutting board to keep secure on the counter.

The thing I like most about this rolling pin is that you can throw it in the freezer and get it cold so your dough doesn't heat up while you're rolling it. It's just the right length for everything from pie crust to tortillas. Just love this one. 5 out of 5.

I like that its lightweight, surprisingly so, and that it doesn't have handles. However I do have to put more strength into it then my older, heavier, traditional wooden one. So keep that in mind when considering this type of tool!

I love this roller! It took a few minutes getting he hang of using it after always using one that had the handles and rolling wood piece. Once used to rolling with it, it made the process so much easier - the dough didn't stick as much, the tapered ends didn't leave a ridge at the end, and it cleaned off easily - what's not to like?

I had been looking for a good French style rolling pin to replace my girlfriends old rolling pin. Hers is the kind with handles and when I went to roll out some tough dough the handles started bending"¦. The stainless steel appears to be of good quality, and no seams are visible in its construction. A seam could potentially lead to rust or food contamination, but this thing looks awesome! It's weighted perfectly, lightweight, yet strong, and will let you really put your back into some tough ramen noodle dough!!
The length is perfect for me, and my girlfriend even thinks it has comfortable ergonomics (I'm over 6 foot and she's kinda shorter). The finish is a beautiful brushed stainless, that not only looks great, but gives you a fair amount of grip when using it. It hasn't slipped out of my hands yet, which is something I was initially concerned with.
I highly recommend checking this stainless steel rolling pin to anyone who wants it for the look, or the heavy duty features it offers!!
