I ordered this when my original remote had a little accident with a cup of water. Was happy to find this was compatible with my stick, unlike most the others . Instructions for set up are pretty easy to follow on pairing it with existing Roku stick. Set up took roughly 5 minutes saved lot of money not having to buy whole new system

I purchased a Roku TV and one of my biggest complaints was the remote/sensor. You literally had to have the remote pointing directly at the TV without obstruction to change the channels, volume, etc. I know the standard but all my other remotes have room for variants. This new remote have voice commands and works like all my other remotes. It makes you wonder why they didn't just supply this remote with the original TV in the first place. I would definitely recommend to anyone that like me hated the OME remote.

If it used to AA batteries I would be really really really happy I don't know why ruku is going to using triple-a batteries because triple-a batteries don't last. The remote is easy to program with your roku and not only get to program with my roku but it gives me the option to program it to run my Samsung TV which is rather old and now I've got a volume control, on off, and control of my roku which makes this a 5 star product except for the batteries but I'm not goingna take off any points for the batteries because it does so much more. It was easy to pair with my roku, then you pair it to your TV. Roku pairing was automatic, Samsung was a little harder as I did not see any instructions, but very easy to figure out.

This remote was easy to connect to the TV. Pull the battery protection tab, push the reset and the TV detected and connected to it quickly. As far as a value for the money, the original remote broke soon after the warranty expired so I'm not pleased about having to purchase a replacement.
