This is a great Balaclava. it is thick enough to keep you warm yet thin enough not to make your helmet too tight. if I have one complaint it would be the mouth area you breath through is not quite at the right point for me. I know they are uni-fit and probably for some it is perfect. if you have a bigger head or face you might find it just right, but even with that as an issue, I still use it every time I ride in the winter. I can fold it down by my chin and it still fits well. This is very soft and I find it's less constricting than others that I have purchased including name brand ones for motorcycles. After several washings, it still fits well and I will be able to continue to use it for several years to come. For the price alone, I recommend it.
