a took It awhile for him but he uses it now
Great so far for my 11 yrs old Min Pin

We had tried stairs (rigid - not foam) for our first two Min Pins, but even though our Min Pins are small (~ 9 lbs), stairs got difficult as they got older because their paws have to step just right to go up - they lost confidence as they get older.
For our current Min Pin, we got the Pet Gear Stramp (a plastic Stair and Ramp Combo) last year. The ramp style is better (easier for him to walk up and not have to watch which step to step on), but as my current Min Pin get older, notice he is having a harder time with the ramp this year (a little steep so noticed he is hesitating a little and feel he has to make it up in one shot) - he can still do it, but decide to try this foam stairs (a blend of ramp and stairs but soft) and it is the best option out of the 3 we tried so far! The foam stairs are more gradual/wider and soft but firm enough for his weight. He seems much more comfortable using it out of the 3 options. The stairs are more gradual and he feels he can take his time going up now.
The foam didn't have smell, it inflated to full size very quickly. Nice to have a removable/washable cover - although I have not wash ours yet. The only minus is since it is foam/light, it wobbled a little but we put something on one side of it to give it some support so not an issue for us.
This foam stairs is the best option for our Min Pin so far!

I purchased this for a senior cat who was having trouble seeing but she never used it. We recently got kittens and this was a great tool for them to use to get up on the window ledge in our bedroom when they were little.
These worked perfectly

I bought the two step version for my older dog who weighs 90 pounds. My king size mattress and box spring are on the floor for stability and also because I have a bad back and do not like climbing into a high bed so you may need the three step version for higher places. These are the perfect size and my chonky girl has no issues climbing up as well as down these steps. They are just foam with a washable covering but they are somehow very dense and sturdy. We are still in a bit of a learning phase because she is very stubborn but eventually she will use them without any guidance. Some people have commented that they are not high enough but remember that the "last step" can be the bed/couch. As long as the top stair step is within a few inches of the bed/couch, your pet will be fine with it. I like that I can remove the cover and wash it. Ours is on a carpeted surface but the bottom of the cover has those rubber grips like you find on some socks so I presume it would not slip even on a hardwood floor. You will be surprised at how well these work and how nicely the "thicker" girls and boys can use these.
They are the perfect size for our couch!

We got these for my frenchie so he wouldn't jump on and off the couch anymore. Soooooo ..... he's a twit, he jumps over them!! lol lol My sons frenchie uses them when he comes to visit! So, we are still working on ours to get him to use them! Mamma mia!!! Otherwise, they're perfect. :)
