Not as quiet as I expected.

What did I like about this generator? It's portability, starts with one or two pulls, quieter than my 3500 watt Champion generator.
What I did not like. Unless you are running this generator on low mode with minimal load, it is noisier than I expected. Loss of horsepower at higher altitudes ( 8000 feet). I camp in the mountains of Colorado and this generator is set up for much lower altitudes. This generator also struggles in high humidity rainy environments. It needs to be kept covered and out of the rain. I put it under the tailgate of my truck and the co2 sensor would shutdown the generator.
I would buy this generator again. I like the portability and even with the minor things that I mentioned, it is a lot more campground friendly than my heavy Champion generator.

We have a few upcoming trips and will be off the grid for some of them. This little generator is very impressive. I added the oil, filled the tank, turned the selector to choke, pulled the cord three times, turned the selector to run, pulled the cord once, and it started right up. We didn't run the A/C, but the heater, which is part of the HVAC system, and you heard a change in the generator, but once the HVAC leveled off, it was fine. The generator is quieter than we'd hoped, but all in all, it's awesome!
easy start

this little guy is about as quiet as a Honda genny. Super easy to start and runs very well for a 1 gallon tank.
Started on the first pull!!!!

Inverter was delivered within two days of ordering. Price for a inverter that puts out this much power is unbelievable. Wieghs about the same as a 2200 Honda. Time will tell, going camping this upcoming weekend and it will be our power source for three days, coffee, recharge the batteries in the fith wheel, watching movies. It will be a great way to break it in before we use the AC. I will update if things go south!
The inverter was a louder than expected, ran good, started easy, even in the low 20* temps that we had in the mornings. At 6800' it does need to be rejetted to run without a occasional sputter, but overall, I would reccomend it.

Small but Mighty!

This generator may be small. But is packed with lots of features and big on quality! You won't be disappointed.
I have a larger generator that I've had for around 15 years that I've used numerous times. While it's physically larger and harder to handle"¦ this one isn't nearly as large physically, but is very capable of handling the electrical demands that I have for it! Additionally, it is small enough that I can pick it up and move it to whatever location it is needed.
