This truss system is good for a DJ or other light duty truss needs. It's not a professional grade truss system but it is good for the price point. With a maximum load of 200 lbs, you can get some lighter weight lights, lasers and other effect lights onto it. The lights get bolted directly to the truss without using clamps, so they have to go where the bolts are. Adjustable and lightweight, makes for easy set up. Materials are good and it is well made.

I have been looking for a portable way to mount my DMX lights. This setup is perfect. It is 'light weight' considering the size and how much weight it can hold. I look forward to using this on many occasions.

Great setup with lots of mounting options. I like having the truss but also being able to use just the stands without it for smaller setups (while still having lots of mounting points). It's reasonably light weight and easy to assemble but the included nuts and bolts strip easily. Tubes are little too thin to use standard 2" lighting clamps but there are ample mounting point to attach lights directly to the stand. Great for occasional use but not built for full time professional road duty.

my live stream but, I also use it for other events as well. I
used it for my Halloween display this year too... worked
out great. I'm finding out that It's pretty versatile and I can
use it for just about any event...that's cool!

⦠The metal it's made from seems OK, it's not as thick or
heavy duty as a full professional set-up, but it's a decent
kit and if it's taken care of it should last a while.

⦠The plastic clamps seem a little weak and I wouldn't over
tighten them, be careful with them.

This set from GearIT is fantastic.! It starts with 2 - 12' tall adjustable folding tripods. Two - 4' top bars are included which hold up to 4 PAR lights each. Two 5' truss sections are included and each can hold up to 7 PAR lights. Setup and tear down is very quick and easy, the entire set is very light. Using this lighting system has been simple and without issue. It is the easiest truss system I have ever used - I love it!
