My grandson spends hours playing with this set! He loves space and anything space, so when he got this set-he lost it. The astronauts aren't bendable but still he can play with them. The shuttle makes sounds like its flying and there's a light as well. He enjoyed this immensely.

Although not all 14 pieces are made of die-cast as advertised (5, to be exact. Namely the space shuttle, the plane, the rover, the tow dolly, and the ATV. The rest are made of plastic), this space toy set provides enough fun for a 4-year-old boy who loves cars and planes. One thing I like about the set is the precision. Neither the shuttle nor the carrier rocket can stand up on their own, but if you attach the shuttle to the rocket, they stand very steady, just like how real space shuttles look like on the launching pad. The same accuracy in details can be found in the plane and the vehicles. I recommend this set, it keeps your little one engaged and interested for a long while, and it can make a nice gift for friends and family with young kids.

Quality metal space set. My 5 year old grandson loves this. He plays with the astronauts and mostly the rocket that rolls on its own across the floor. My gripe would be that the figurines don't bend or fit on or in any of the vehicles in the set but the kid doesn't seem to mind. He's quite happy to just play with the different rockets and vehicles while the astronauts just watch from the sidelines.
