I haven't talked to other headset of the pair but the bluetooth is really excellent at high speeds clear and low speed I have to turn down the volume. That was 60 to 75 mph just to test it on am completely satisfied with the sound it is crystal clear I didnt turn it to full volume. This is a honest and I'm not making it up it it clear so far I am really satisfied the big knob works as they said I even raised my face shield to test it still loud I did even turn it up to max that was at 70 mph also just to see what it would sound like. I did a lot of reading about ever headset on amazon. I will put a review on Here after I try talking to a passenger or another rider. I'm impressed about how easy it was to set up the bluetooth and how easy it connected up to the phone it was instant and easy. I use spotify for music I think it will do as well on the phone and what ever I use. Believe me I'm 69 yrs old I ain't no dang computer guru. I dont know nothing about setting it up . It was that simple . I charged the battery I've used it 3 hrs and messed with it a couple hrs showing it off to my friends in my riding group. I havent had no indication the battery is weak. But I'm going to charge again and have it ready for the next ride. I'm about to mound the other unit on my wifes helment. And see how it works and how the talk back and forth and test a phone call in and out. I ain't got nothing to do with this company I'm just telling you how I'm pleased and the quality is great after the test run and using them. My brother is buying a pair of the same thing he has a real cheap single set that he hears good with but less quality and his has the adjust button on his mike it is to hard to use riding and impossible to use wearing glove these I just got gloves or bare fingers the big knob and buttons work great. I'm going to order him his soon as I post this. I think it's a good setup for my opinion.

For the money can't go wrong with this intercom. Installation was relatively simple. In addition there are plenty of installation videos on how to get it installed into your helmet.
Battery life has been outstanding.
The fx8 paired seamlessly to iPhone 14 plus
Speakers attach via Velcro but re-mounting was a problem for me and resulted in one of the speaker covers tearing when I attempted to reposition it. Fodsport quickly replaced the speaker set. Speaker sound was loud and impressive!
Phone calls are very clear and the person on the other end can clearly hear me with little road noise. I love this about the unit.
All this leads me to leads me to the most impressive element of my purchase- Fodsports customer service. A Fodsports customer service representative checked in after I received my order and I informed them about an issue with one of my my speaker covers. They sent me another unit with expedited shipping! I consider this amazing customer service.
I would definitely buy again.

I've been using this headset for a few months now, and I think it was worth making a review about it because it makes my riding experience so much better than before.
To start, just for safety improvements this headset is a MUST, now when I or my friends see any imminent danger, we can help each other out.
This headset looks and feels expensive, rubberized finish and rubber caps to prevent water from getting inside in case you get some rain.
Going for a long trip and want to say something? Now you can do it any anytime, and if you want you can also mute the headset and switch to music on the fly, simply by pressing the button on the top.
Battery really lasts me for weeks, average for me is 2 weeks before needs to recharge again, of course, it depends on how long you ride for, but battery shouldn't be an issue.
I hear my friends talking loud and clear, microphone will block some wind but this will also depend on how much air gets on your helmet, with my visor open, I found that up to 50mph I can listen and talk to someone else with no problem, more than 50 starts getting harder, but like I said, depends on which helmet you are using.
The transmission range on this thing is amazing, it gets to the point where I can't even see my partner anymore and I can still hear him, no interference whatsoever!
Like other reviews mention, the volume wheel is awesome, very easy to increase or decrease volume without having to look for specific buttons and while having your hands off the grip.
I don't listen much to FM radio, but it works just fine, music sounds amazing, sounds very clear and loud.
You must install the speakers right in front of your years, the pre-cuts on the helmets are usually miss places behind or on top of your ears, so it won't sound good if you don't install the speakers correctly.
When I receive calls on this thing, it will let you set up picks up the call automatically or or manually by touching the button in the middle of the volume wheel, if you paired with your friends headset, when you pick up the call it will mute your friend, so he won't be able to listen to you or conversation, but as soon as you hang up it will reconnect to your friend automatically.
So would highly suggest you to buy this headset, just for the safety it provides alone is already a must. You will not regret, money well spent.

I bought these for a backwoods off-roading trip for my fiance and I, as we were going on seperate buggies and for the first few days were not going to have anyone with us. I thought that with these, they would give me a peace of mind as she rode behind me, and I could not only check in with her, but also notify her of obstacles or other people up ahead. The packaging was nice, presentation nice, and setting them up was a breeze (albeit the instructions could be a little more in depth). We tried them out at home first and everything worked great, she hooked hers up to her phone so she could listen to music out on the trails. The first day we were out riding and everything was going great until the end of the day. My intercomm button would stop working so the only way I could talk to her is if she pressed her button. Then hers quit working while mine magically started working. We ended up turning them off and back on and it was working intermittently. We charged them that night and everything seemed to be fine for two days when all of a sudden whenever we intercommed there would be a lot of background interference, it could become really loud and sound like nails scraping on a chalk board at parts. We reset them again and all seemed fine. Not sure what caused it, but after our experience with them, we definitely will be using these again.
