Plugged in about 15 seconds, time was adjusted to local time and the difference was about 1 to 2 miles. The things I like is the brightness. In night time it's not distracting for me. The price was good.

This AWOLIMEI Digital Speedometer is a great way to know your speed while keeping eyes on the road. It has been very useful for us, and it's just the right size too. All the the lighting is configurable (we prefer display only, no auxiliary lighting), and the display can be set to show different information (we prefer speed while moving, and time when stopped). It does have a few downsides though. The button interface is not intuitive. It is complicated even for those of use who do well with tech stuff. The manual provided enough information for me to figure out all that it does, and how to accomplish it, but my other family members wouldn't have a chance. Fortunately I can just tell them not to touch it. And that's fine, because it does what we need without having needing to touch it. And the compass indicators are way too small and in odd positions relative to one another.
