It was just what I needed for the project I was working on. I didn't realize on at least two of the battery operated products a piece of plastic in between the battery and the light which was there to keep the battery from losing its charge. It would have been nice to know that early on. Nothing in the instructions. Needed to find it on the internet. Other than this great product for the $.

A great little basic set, I did some random tests and the magnets are sufficient. The round mirror is rather flimsy, as well as the other lighted one. They'll do the trick in a pinch. The other items extend and retract firmly, but it feels like a $20 set of tools. I didn't expect much, but this kit did surpass my lowered expectations.
