This bag of organic barley flour is packaged in a vacuum sealed bag. Because of how compressed the barley flour is, you might need to gently break up some flour clumps. Otherwise, it works well in my flat bread recipes and I have no complaints. Also, the packaging is not resealable, so you'll probably need to transfer it to a jar or tub or something for optimum freshness.

The quality, taste and value for money is on par, but I could not really pull off the barley chapatis I saw on YouTube!
Sad because barley is supposed to be super healthy. You could probably use this in whole wheat batter to enrich it while kneading chapati dough!

Very well sealed for freshness. Very fine grind, good for making pancakes, waffles, drop biscuits, etc. Nice, fresh, kinda nutty flavor, but dense like whole wheat: you may want to blend with cake flour and/or whipped egg whites when making something that needs to be light or fluffy like pancakes.
