I was hoping the .6 cubic feet size would be big enough to hold a letter size document so it would lay flat. It almost works, but you have to slightly bend a letter size sheet to get the door to close. Other than that this is a decent safe. It's easy to set the combination, open it, and you get spare backup keys. The safe itself isn't that heavy or thick walled. It will be easy for someone to walk away with the safe and then cut it open. But for just keeping things out of reach of people who might e in your house this will work.
