This shelf is an excellent addition to the second tier of an electronic keyboard stand. It's sturdy and no assembly required. It's totally intuitive how to install the shelf on a keyboard tier, and the edges line up nicely to prevent it falling off even when tilted at a steep angle. It even has a handy slot for cables. The gauge of steel is just heavy enough and the black coating is high-quality. I highly recommend this for musicians like me who are into the newest small "boutique" synthesizers. It easily fits four such units!

Well made, light two keyboard stand with a carry bag. If you don't mind using hand screw adjustments to assemble or you will move it infrequently it's great. Took me a little to long to assemble on a dark stage otherwise I would have loved it.

I needed to start a second rig in the house as the first one grew too big. This stand was the solution. I have put small and medium keyboards on without issues. The top part can be of concern though depending on what you add on the upper level. I have added a flat perforated metal panel used in shelving. On that panel I have added a soundbar, a desktop synth, and lately a sequencer/processor for sound. On the side I have attached a small mixer. The upper level can be easily misaligned because its locking mechanism is not the best I have seen. But once set correctly it works as expected. I am thinking about buying a second one but then the new rig will become big and that goes against the original plan. Oh well...
