should have studied the ad a bit closer, it does clearly state the dimensions! ordered this to alleviate the strain of bending over to pull out the oven racks. their size does mean there will still be some bending, unless being used on a countertop toaster oven, which i could see these working really well with. these will supplement using regular potholders though, which is nice. puts a little more distance between you and the hot heat. they are really well made in fact, the beech wood has a natural finish that creates a smooth feel. if these were to get a little spill on them, they are much easier to clean than a regular potholder. a little rinse and wipe and they are good as new. both ends have notches to ensure no matter which way you grab it, they will be able to pull the rack out with ease. it also means they can be hung on the wall or nearest the oven and not necessarily in a drawer. other than these being quite a bit smaller than anticipated, they are really well crafted and imagine they will become a favored kitchen staple
