Intended for YouTube, Video Conference, Vlogging, Web Cam, Podcasting, family vacations and more. It's small and light weight and performs exactly as expected. Features include IR night vision mode in black & white, 16 X digital zoom, anti shake, time lapse and several more features and functions. The zoom function is nice though it moves quickly, so any artistic "slow close-up's" are not going to be possible. IR Night Vision has great range with the red led but can become grainy when the zoom is pushed to it's limits.
It's very price sensetive for the technology and the build reflects what you would expected for a camera in this price range. (Consider that a professional 5K Video camera will run you $17,000 or more.) This works just fine for my needs.

For the cost I think it's a wonderful camera. I use it to record myself during my track workouts and it catches action just fine. I also enjoy the loop action so all of my film is broken down into 1 min clips. Would highly recommend if you just getting started vlogging, and or making short videos
