This is a well-made, high quality battery switch. It arrived when promised, packaged well, and in excellent condition. The switch was easy to install in the battery cover lid of my RV and it works as promised. In RVs, using the built in disconnect switch that comes from the factory, doesn't fully disconnect everything so there is battery drainage even with that switch removed. This stops that drainage completely.

this device works very well. It has saved me from a dead battery I have a 2018 Ford F250 and for some reason there's a battery draw on the truck sits more than three days. So with disconnect or I can turn off the full power of the truck which just one click, it's worth it.

This was the perfect solution for my problem of a tight space. No room for a mounted switch but I used a side post mount switch on top Works and fits great! Peace of mind knowing everything is off . Fish finders and motor power is off and no more slow drain from sitting between trips to the lake.Highly recommended.

Does what it is supposed to do. Like that it has indicators for on and off. Like how simple it is without having to take it apart to install. It is directional and could only be installed one way in my car. Glad I had enough wire to make it work. Mag not fit on all cars.

I found this item on Amazon last year and thought it would be just what I needed to make disconnecting my NEG battery cable easier when I knew my car was not going to be driven for a while. Once installed, which is very easy, this switch has worked great without any hassle.

I am now a repeat buyer and can say that both purchases have been great.

We have 2 cars which are not used often and have always disconnected the NEG battery cable from the battery so as to keep the battery charged when the cars are going to sit around for a few weeks or months at a time without being started.

In the past, I had no problem removing the NEG battery cable from the battery by loosening the nut. But to do this you need use your tools, and when you do this over and over, sometimes it makes the nut a little sloppy, after a while, I was not really able to tighten everything down as I would like to do, from the repeated loosening and tightening of the bold/nut.

Now that I have installed this switch, it makes the process so much easier! First, I don't need any tools, I just pop the hood and turn the switch to red (off) when I'm not going to use the car for a while.
When I'm ready to drive again, I pop the hood, and turn the switch to green. (see pictures)

One thing to note, once the battery is turned off, you will need to open your car door via the physical key, because the key fob (push button) will no longer work. Since we rarely used the actual key prior to this, we sprayed some graphite power in the key-hole just to keep everything lubricated in there so the key would turn easy.

I hope this review helps, I know this item is made in China and some of them have been DOA, but both the ones I ordered have worked great out of the box and held up for months so far.
