My Mother has not had the chance yet to use this table for sewing yet, and I will only be talking about assembly, and parts replacement.

For the last 20 years I have a background in Jet Aircraft and Car Mechanics, so needless to say I am pretty good at looking at plans or instructions and making things come together. There were a couple of steps in the instructions that could have been more descriptive to aid the installation of sewing machine tray, and shelving side. Not to mention the correct numbers on the correct pieces would have helped tremendously. Things went together pretty well once I sorted out the issues, but I hope they update the instructions in the near future.

The hardware is pretty standard for the installation, and my main issues are the plastic inserts with metal hardware. Which I understand considering the price point. I just have a feeling this is a one and done project, and I would not recommend taking it apart and putting it back together again. Nor would I over tighten any hardware. For it will strip easily. My main problem was that I was given identical brackets for the sewing machine tray item numbers 9 and 10. If I would have installed these, it would have never sat correctly as seen in some pictures from other reviews. I seriously thought about just fabricating metal brackets and just be done with this, but my better half (Wife) reminded me that I shouldn't have to fix something when I paid for it.

I called the company with the supplied information, and left a message. In fact, I left multiple messages over two days. With no call back so I decided to just order the parts online. I filled out a missing form and explained my problem with identical brackets. I also explained there was no way to tell which brackets I had because they were pictured different in multiple pages. Needless to say, I never received an email or phone call about this either. I was rather surprised when a little over a week a box showed up on my door step with both left and right brackets.

Once I install the new brackets, and my Mother gets a chance to use it for a week or two. I will update this post.

I needed a table for a small space that would hold my sewing machine- it also has a drop extension if you wanted to make it smaller - the side drawers are pretty flimsy- overall it's a great sewing table

It is very sturdy. My machine fits nicely in the space for it and the shelf is adjustable.
I'm a quilter, long hours at the machine use to strain my neck and shoulders. No everything is set at the perfect height. A great investment

The instructions were clear and the table went together well. I is perfect for my sewing machine and seems quite sturdy.
This table would have gotten five stars but I took away a star because of the company's customer service. The box arrived damaged and heavily taped. When I looked at the parts I found an entire page of parts missing - namely ALL the bolts, nuts, screws, and small tools that should have been a part of the box. I guess when the box was damaged, whatever package that contained the screws, etc. fell out and was lost. Still the rest of the pieces were fine, so I thought of contacting Studio Design and ask them to send the screws. Over the next week I tried many times to reach Studio Design and also used their web form to get replacement parts to no avail. I got no response at all.
So, I contacted Amazon and told them what happened, and they offered to send a replacement table kit, which I accepted. Two days after contacting Amazon, the package of screws, etc. arrived from Studio Designs- no explanation (perhaps Amazon contacted them?) All the missing pieces were in the package, which I used to put the table together. The table came out very nice and suits my needs well.
I cancelled the replacement order as I was able to get my table.
Again, this table should get five stars, but poor customer service almost ruined everything. I don't usually write reviews, but I am hoping Studio Design sees this and improves Customer Service. BTW a special thanks to Amazon for their customer service.
