This is going to be a very tough review for me to write.
I've been using Macbooks for the last fifteen years and I've grown accustomed to their style and quality. This is definitely not that.
Then again, a Macbook costs ten times what this discount laptop cost. Did I really expect MacBook quality? Unfortunately, I probably did. And that's what makes this difficult. I think I got exactly what I paid for and while it did not work for me, my expectations were too high and I can't handle the hit in quality.
But I feel like I do about people who write bad reviews about the PT Cruiser. Look, you are scraping the bottom of the barrell. About the best you can actually hope for is "please don't suck".
This laptop doesn't suck. That doesn't mean it's great. I think it's priced just about right for what you get. If you need a laptop and really can't afford one, this will get the job done and is more flexible and useable than a Chromebook. If you have an external keyboard, mouse, and monitor ready to go, you'll bypass 90% of my complaints about this discount laptop. The display is adequate though slightly low resolution, but the keyboard and mouse are somewhat frustrating to use. They don't have good tactile feedback and the mouse feels inconsistent in what kind of touch it wants. Again, I don't know how much I can really criticize, they work fine, they just aren't satisfying to use -- but that's what you need to expect at this price point.
In the end, I'm giving it four stars. This will never be a laptop anyone enjoys using, but if you are this price sensitive, this is as good as it gets for something this cheap. The packaging was really nice and it looks like it cost way more than it did. I've seen discount Dell laptops that were flimsier and felt cheaper than this does. I won't end up using this for any purpose but I already have someone who will be delighted to get it as a gift.

Pretty good laptop for the price. Nice size screen. I got this for school work and SIMS so it does it's purpose for me. Only downside is the speaker is crappy & my laptop will not charge pass 96% & battery life isn't that great. If your getting this for entertainment purposes I think it's a good buy.
