This is great budget friendly chop saw for those DIY homeowner. The quality is excellent for the price. This chop saw is heavy and is made out of heavy gauge metal. There is minimal cheap plastic. The motor is strong and the abrasive disc will cut through metal like a knife through butter.
Use a firm hand for best results.

This chop saw is best used with a firm and focused hand while cutting. It is somewhat less precise if just doing ordinary cuts, but does a much better job if you just slow down a little and focus more on each part that is cut.
Nice to have a Metal cutting tool.

This is quite a good find I think. I don't do a lot of working with Metal but when I do it's toss in the vice and break out the Hack saw if I want any kind of accuracy. My Grinder is just too awkward to get any precision. This chop saw is Excellent, it's heavy enough you don't have to bolt is down But is light enough to carry. The screw clamp works great on anything I have tossed in from 1\8" Brass Rods to 3\4" angle iron. It's loud but that's to be expected and the Clamp allows you to cut at an angle easily. Really like that it came with an additional Cutting wheel.
