I perfectly seared two boneless ribeye steaks and they were amazing. This grill is what I've been needing. Cleaning is a matter of paintbrush style grill cleaner and a little mild soap or water. Wouldn't bring anything metal near the fryer top. Im sure its durable and somewhat scratch resistant imho because it looks and feels expensive. This was a rush purchase but an educated rush purchase. Good decision on my part. Glad I went with it. You cant go wrong if your looking for a grill like this
