It took me 2 minutes to understand the picture directions. After that, it took 5 minutes to put it together.
A necessary small desk essential

I have an l-shaped desk that's rather narrow and needed something to organize my accessories without taking up too much valuable real estate on my desk. I received this organizer and was thrilled to get it put together and set up. The instructions were mostly clear, however, there was enough confusion in the image-driven instructions that I actually had the orientation of the largest piece backwards before righting it and continuing construction.
After construction was completed, I am pleased to say the unit is appealing and manages to accomplish my initial goal of having all of my accessories in one place. For this, I am happy to recommend this to anyone looking for a similar piece. My deduction of a star for sturdiness comes from possibly just how I use it but I feel it was worth deducting the star for in case someone else faced the same issue. The shelves simply slide into the main unit. I can see how this enhances an "easy" assembly of parts, however, when using the unit, the shelves slide far too easily...with my stuff on them. I have been able to prevent the dumping of my accessories at this time however, I expect this to go horribly wrong one day with the easy slide out "feature." An indentation or rubber gripping of some end could have easily mitigated this minor/possibly major problem.
All this having been said, I still do not regret choosing this little organizer for my desk and do recommend anyone in a similar situation give it a chance as well.
