I have been using another weighing scale from FitIndex for last few years, but it gave out a while ago and I purchased this RunSTAR one. It is equal to or better than fitindex scale in every parameter. Their app displays all the info with nice icons to quickly understand what we are looking at. They have every measurement that the fitindex app has such as weight, bmi, body fat, fat free body weight, subcutaneous fat, visceral fat, body water, skeletal muscle, muscle mass, body mass, protine, bmr & metabolic age. And they also have one more item called muscle rate. RunSTAR app has trends and charts like the fitindex app too. However the areas it shines are in the weighing scale itself. It is much larger than my old scale. When I used to stand on the fitindex scale, I used to have to balance myself as it was a bit small. But since RunSTAR scale is large enough, I don't have to balance and can stand comfortably. The fitindex scale's display is rather dim and has very low contrast so sometimes its hard to see in bright light. Whereas RunSTAR scale has a very good contrast display. The numbers and letters are highly visible. Fitindex scale just shows the weight and all other info is sent to the app, so you can only see it in the app. But RunSTAR scale show most of the info right on the scale itself. No need to visit the app everytime. I had been happy with my fitindex scale and app, but RunSTAR is much better in every sense. There is only one small caviat though, for my 13 yr old daughter and me it measured every detail. However for my 9 yr old son it only measured weight and bmi, Not sure why it does not measure other details. I did make sure that his fit were touching all 4 sensors on the scale. But my fitindex scale had the same problem, and it did not measure all details for my 13yr old daughter too. So at least RunSTAR has my daughter covered which is great.

The scale packaging is very good and looks very delicate after I opened. The edge of the glass is very well processed and does not scratch your hands. The design of the base bottom is very stable so you won't worry about it turn over when you stand on it. Once I stand on it, the numbers will show and change immediately on the scale screen. The measurement results are relatively accurate. In general, it is a good value money for small household appliance. The Bluetooth function is very easy to use and convenient to connect with an app. Each measurement can be synchronized with the recorded data, and personal statistics weight changes will be saved in the app. Such a great and useful body scale I have ever purchased. Highly recommended!!!

This is the second scale I bought from Amazon. I got my first one 2 yrs ago from fitindex, a random pick from best sellers. I am satisfied with that one but lost it when I relocated. So I bought this one with some different features and I must say this is even better than my previous one! It can measure all the things that fitindex has, BUT I can read them without even opening my phone. All the numbers just displayed directly on the scale! This is such a convenient feature that I can't imagine before, because I always don't want to include the weight of the phone as part of my weight but I have to hold it in my hand to read the details if using the fit index scale. Another feature that I like is that it's powered by battery. This is also more convenient than the charging one, as I hate to wait for it to be charged when I want to use it. And it even came with batteries, another thing that is out of my expectation.
