I have a small pond in my backyard that houses a turtle. He's been a member of the family for years. Recently I decided to give him an upgrade, and that means new rocks, a new basking ramp, and a new pump to keep his water aerated. I thought my last one was good, but this one is great! Not only is it good and moving water, but it has 4 different heads for water output. This means you can choose how you want the water to look coming out and it's nice to have that option for aesthetic purposes. My fav is the waterfall. It's easy to assemble (just small parts, the motor is already assembled) and easy to use.

I have been running this little fish pond pump all summer w/zero problems. It looks very nice and it come with multiple attachment heads. It runs quietly. It is almost too strong for my tiny 3 x 5 foot pond pond so keep this in mind if you also have a small pond.

The pump in my sugar kettle fountain was failing and I got this one as a replacement. Because I have goldfish in the kettle, I need a pump that is effective at moving a fairly high volume of water, as well as looking good. This pump has excellent flow and moves a lot of water for such a small pump. The fountain itself is very attractive and there are several choices for the nozzle. You can use the extender to make it a bit taller for deeper fountains or leave it off for a shallow situation. The manufacturer recommends that the pump be placed on a platform, rather than the bottom of your fountain/pond, so it will not suck up mud and debris from the bottom. That is what I did and the pump stays put really well, thanks to a good design and strong suction cups on the bottom.
One nice feature that I have not tested yet is that you can use this as a sump pump as well. I do partial water changes every so often and it will be nice not to have to drag my sump pump out of the storage shed every time.

First of all, the quality of the attachments is MUCH nicer than most. The pipe is also of a larger diameter than most as well (higher flow rate, but also need more space ).
I really like all the different choices for the fountain and the adjustability of it. Everything screws together securely.
I could not get an 8 foot spray as they claimed with any of the nozzles. Max was about 4.5 feet.
Nice long power cord.
You can use it as a drain too (to clean out the fountain/pond) if you have some tubing that you can attach to the output.
The fountain has only two small sponge filters (you access them by turning the base, if it is too hard to turn then loosen the metal top by unscrewing the grey retainer on the pump output. This means in a pond or a fountain that gets dirty you are going to be cleaning it often. And no extra filters are provided. I ended up wrapping the bottom with some netting which is easier to remove and clean. If you use this indoors with clean water this will not be an issue. My cheaper fountain has a better filtering system (but not as nice attachments)
