I'm in a Starbucks Facebook group, and someone showed off this frother. I've previously purchased the little hand held mini frother and it's good, but THIS. THIS makes the PERFECT consistency of cold foam! Hands down!!!
Here's the recipe:
1/2 cup heavy WHIPPING cream
1/4 cup 2% milk (yes, it HAS to be 2%!)
1/4 cup vanilla syrup (torani/monin, whatever)
This is the base for starbucks vanilla sweet cream cold foam. Add whatever you want after that. If you wanted salted caramel cold foam, use THIS BASE and also add caramel syrup AND a tiny bit of salt. Want chocolate cold foam...use THIS BASE and add chocolate syrup (like for choc milk..i.e.. 2 tbsp). If you want pumpkin cold foam, use THIS BASE and add 1-2tbsp pure pumpkin puree.
You will NOT regret this purchase! I washed my starbucks up from the last drink I had and made iced coffee and cold foam and this is the result. See pic.

I use this product every time I make tea or coffee. Its works very fast and is relatively easy to clean. My only complaint is that I wish the instructions gave more details on the various settings and how best to use them.

Overall, the product does what it says. However, I did find that when on the first hot option (2 clicks of the power button), if you let it go until it beeps twice, as instructed, it cooks some of the liquid and is very stuck on the bottom and difficult to remove. I now only let it go about half the time (stopping before it beeps) and its easier to clean. ****
