I shopped around for a long time for a complete set and glad I found this one. Everything in it cuts great, the case is well designed, and the story behind the company sold me as well. I'll definitely be a return customer.

The taps & dies are great but the case needs to be designed better.

The media could not be loaded. To start off this is probably the 3rd review i have ever written. I only write reviews when i fell compelled to do so. Ihave been using tools feels like my entire life and just recently found out about Toolant. A little back history I have been in the mechanical field on aircraft for 15 years now and have worked on automobiles since i was young. I have used sets of Tap and Dies from high end names for years and I am pleased to have stumbled upon this company. The customer service is outstanding. When i had received this set and began using the ratchet it was malfunctioning. As in when going into the metal it was find while ratcheting, but when going in reverse it would kick back over to the forward side. While this was a headache I did reach out to the company any and promptly they sent out a replacement which worked as advertised. I do understand that some tools do malfunction. This has not been my first or even second ratchet that has came like this and the others were big brand as well. So for customer service they get a 10 out of 10.
As for the set this set is fantastic. I love the way everything is laid out and nicely labeled. I have noticed that the clearances are tighter with this set than others i have used which is awesome especially because i am going into aluminum a lot. I have used the dies a few times to fix some threads that were marked up but mainly use the tap side of the house. As in the video i did mention the case felt cheap but it is still sturdy. Although i would recommend to the company that the top part where the ratchet sits, the lid is a little flimsy and when opening i have had the lid pop out a few times which is somewhat of a hassle to put back in. Other than the minor flaws which isn't much and to have a good company back their product the way they did is an awesome experience. when looking for tools in the future i will be keeping my eye out for this company for sure.

As stated on the box no fancy packaging the plastic case is pure garbage. The lid on top keeps popping out and is difficult to get back in. Tools move around a bit inside so I just keep the plastic inserts in the drawers. Other than that the taps and dies meet expectations and I like the smooth action and feel in my hand of the ratcheting die holder.

This is a great kit for anyone, but perfect for the hobbyist. It has a large range of sizes in both SAE and Metric hardware. It is great to have not only the taps and dies well organized, but also to have the proper drill bit for each tap all in one place really helps. The ratchet handle has approximately 72 teeth per revolution, giving you a 5 degree arc swing as advertised, to help you in tight places. The case is made from a decent material and is well designed to hold everything, although due to the compliance of the material, there is a bit of sag on the bottom drawer the the case is picked up. The detents which are used hold the bottom drawer closed are plastic and while stiff now and hold the drawer shut, may loosen over time after numerous cycles of opening and closing the drawer. The materials used for the taps, dies, and drill bits seem to adequate for the intended use applications for this set. Over all I am very pleased with set.
