When I first received the ZACME stand mixer, I was a little hesitant because I have always known Kitchenaid to be the flagship mixer brand. But right out of the box, I was quite impressed.

In the box:
In the box, besides the mixer, you get a dough hook, beater, whisk tool, splash guard and an instruction manual. This is essentially everything you need to start baking.

Assembly:
There was virtually no assembly required to use the mixer. Once everything that was individually wrapped is unwrapped, simply wash the bowl and tools, and you are ready to mix.

Features and Use:
As the product describes, this is an eight speed mixer with a 5.5 quart bowl. This is plenty large enough for the majority of baking jobs. My first mix was for a 1 year old's birthday party smash cake which consisted of three 5 inch cakes. There was so much room in the bowl that I could've easily doubled this recipe. The speed settings are on a dial on the back of the unit which I did find a little awkward to use. When mixing the batter, I could never really see what speed it was on without walking to the back of the machine.

To my surprise, there is a light right next to the mixing tool shining down on the contents of your bowl. This was incredible because it was so much easier to see how mixed my batter was. This kind of machine naturally blocks light from above so this was a great touch.

Another surprise was how quiet the mixer was. I have been witness to my mom's stand mixer as well as a handheld mixer and this is by far the quietest I've heard.

I have not use the timer feature yet, but I love that there are two different kinds of timers. If you simply turn on the machine without setting a time, it will automatically count up to 60 minutes. If after 60 minutes you have not turned it off yet, it will auto shut off for you. If instead, you push the up-and-down arrows to choose a time, it will countdown for you when you start the mixer.

I did not turn the mixer on to the highest setting, but at five, there was absolutely no movement of the machine. There are suction cups on the bottom that hold it in place.

When adding ingredients or finished baking, you lift the top of the unit by pushing a switch lever on the back in the upward direction. This will allow you to lift the head up at an angle, and you will feel it click into place. When you want to lower the top again, simply push up on that same lever and lower until it clicks in place again.

The only other complaint I have is the chrome panel in the front that covers the attachments area. It does not sit very firm and anytime I lifted or lowered the top of the unit, my hand would accidentally push on it and jar it loose. It never fell off, but I didn't like that it moved all the time.

Conclusion:
Overall, the ZACME stand mixer impressed me quite a bit with its high quality look and feel, powerful performance, and quiet operation. It came with all the accessories I could want to get started and I love the built in light and timers. However, the controls on the back are a bit awkward, and the front attachment cover can be a bit annoying. Despite these minor drawbacks, this stand mixer offers very good functionality, making it a worthy choice if you are in the market for one.

I have wanted to have a Stand Mixer for ages now. Last year a mixer that was my parents when I was a young child finally died (we got a lot of good use out of that since I'm nearly 70!) and then my hand mixer died. Trying to make whipped cream with a wisk is difficult! I had my eyes set on a certain famous brand (dropping hints to my wife about possible birthday or Christmas presents), but when I saw this mixer from Zacme and sold by ZZKUSA, I decided to take matters into my own hands, and I ordered it.

It is a wonderful, heavy, quiet and steady stand mixer with a large 5.5 quart mixing bowl and a 600W motor that plows through making a bowl full of bread dough (and if it can whip though making a stiff dough it can mix anything else).

I really don't know what to say about this. Everything about it screams (quietly, of course), quality. It is heavy, but well balanced. When it was mixing the dough it just sat on the counter without jumping around. The motor gives a soft whine that is far quieter than my older mixer. The motor body is held securely in place with a locking latch, in either the up or down position.

The mixer has eight speeds and you can switch between them using the dial on the back of the motor section. A very nice feature is that you can set the time that the mixer will be operating using a touch sensitive display pad on the side of the mixer. If you don't use the timer the display will count up the time that the mixer has been operating. The included directions tell you about the different recommended speed settings for whatever you are doing with the mixer. They are clear and detailed.

The bowl locks into place with a simple twist and the mixer comes with a wife whisk, a bread hook and a beater attachment. All of them are made of solid and polished metal (as is the mixer itself). The attachments connect to the mixer head with a simple push and twist. So far I have only used the bread hook, but I have no doubts that the whisk and beater attachments are more than capable. I'm wondering if I should make a carrot cake or a cheesecake next!

One of the things I was looking forward to having in the other more famously named kitchen mixer was its ability to have different attachments that could grind meat or shred vegetables or make pasta. At first I didn't see how this Zacme mixer could do that, but I found out that it can. The metal plate at the end of the mixer over the bowl pops off and attachments can be hooked up there. My next purchase will be a meat grinder!

I have nothing negative to say about this mixer, but only positive bragging that it's mine! So if you ever come over to my house and ask me about it, I'll be sure to show you all about it! Of course, you could order your own, which would probably be a very good thing!

This is was bigger than I expected but the quality is amazing and very easy when it comes to mixing very light work and value for money.

I like that this mixer has a nice large bowl and comes with several attachments. It's not the largest mixer I have had, and I have to say that I do prefer the larger sized ones. When I bake, I tend to bake a lot at once, so I need the larger size, or else it takes longer than I want to spend. Like most stand mixers, the bowl twists into place and it stays put while the mixer is running. I like the built-in timer, that's a nice addition. All in all, I think this is a nice mixer that is easy to use. It does a good job and offers a lot of versatility in the kitchen.
