A couple of neighbors have had major water leak damage. If you are not present you will not know until hopefully a good neighbor spots the water running out from under the doors. This product was highly recommended to us. It was very reasonably priced and easy to set up. Going to get a couple more sensors for this location and another system for another property.

Got these for our camper. Placed them behind the water panel and under all the sinks. Did a power fill of the fresh water tank a couple days later and the alarm behind the panel went off due to a leaky fixture I didn't know about. Loud alarm that was easy to hear from outside and inside the camper. Sent an alert to my phone soon after the alarm started. Very happy with the purchase.

Since having this its identified 2 leaks and one that could have been really bad. Had a leak under my sink while I was away, i received an email and was able to alert someone to address it. Apparently one of sink lines was bad. Was able to have it fixed before I got home thank to this.

My one issue is the app does not notify you of leak unless it running. I received an email alert, so if your not up on your email you won't be alerted.

I bought the six pack with the base unit as well as six additional units for a total of 12.

Very easy installation as a matter of fact the six that came with the base unit were already paired. I labeled each one before I put them in place and name them in the software. Since the six that come with it are already paired simply lick your two fingers touch two of the sensors on the bottom of the unit to set it off. You can see which one went off on your phone software and then name the sensor in the software.

The additional six sensors that I paired allow you to name them as you pair them.

Also seem to be the best buy for the quantity.

Before I get into the product review, I want to call out Govee for incredible customer service. One of the sensors I received had a slight issue. When the pre-installed battery was put in, the battery bent the spring in the compartment. I was able to bend it back to get it to work, however it was slightly loose and I was worried about the device long term as the batteries are replaced.

Amazon, for some reason, was not much help. I got the feeling that I would have to go through the trouble of returning the full kit. I ended up contacting Govee directly and explained the issue to them, I also included a picture but in all honesty it is hard to tell in a pic that something is wrong. Govee responded to me within 24 hours offering to send me a replacement sensor. While this sounds trivial, I have had horrible experiences lately with manufacturers support, Eufy, I am talking about you. Kudos for resolving this for me so quickly without requesting me to send you multiple videos or a blood sample.

As for the product itself, it works as expected. Be sure to test each sensor before you deploy them! Setup was pretty straightforward and I didn't run across any issues. The app works great on all my different devices, and the local alarm is very loud.

I really like how the sensors also show in Google home. I use the Govee products for water leak detection, Kasa for smart light switches, samsung for home appliances and Eufy for cameras and security. All of them but Eufy work great under Google home to give me a unified view of all my smart products.

My one complaint is the main hub/transmitter. If you notice in the picture the device takes up two sockets in the wall plug when it obviously only needs one. A very silly oversight by the product team but it doesn't impact my installation.
