High quality for the money - great value

Like virtually everyone else says, these reels are of unbeatable quality at this price point. I heard that Piscifun may be getting out of the fly fishing side of things, so the reels/rods are on closeouts. I got the 5/6 weight reel and it is very light but also seems strong and with tight tolerances. Some folks had issues with the drag, but I really like it - the knob is big and the drag is very smooth and easy to adjust, with audible clicks at each of the interval levels. To get the spool off, you loosen the entire drag knob and then pull the whole thing off - a bit different than other reels that have a little spring-loaded catch you move to pop the spool off. My reel came as a left-hand retrieve, which is what I prefer - but it seems easy to change to right-hand, too. I think I'm going to pick up another reel to save for the future. I'll upload two photos of the reel on my 5-wt rod so you can get an idea of size.
Feels Solid, Reels Smooth

I have a 5/6 reel for my saltwater fishing. I use a kayak to get around the bays and normally wade fish. I have taken it on a couple of trips. I clean the reel after the trips and so far seems to be holding up. Already decided and bought a 7/8 reel as well so that I can cast my heavy clousers. I think these reels will suit my needs. I am a beginner at fly fishing but have been actively fishing for several decades.
Nice reel

Compared with my Lamson Liquid 3+, the Piscifun 3/4 is a bit smaller, but also a bit lighter. It's a great match for the short 3wt I use for small streams, but I could have gone a size up to balance my 10-ft 3wt euro nymphing rod (which casts 4wt line). The Piscifun feels solid, it's super quiet (non clicky), drag is easy to use, no backlash. It's an order of magnitude better than the old Cabela's 3wt I used to use (up top in the picture) and quite a bit less expensive than the Lamson 3+ (on the bottom). I'll give it 4 stars cuz it's not really a 4wt reel but it's a solid choice for a 3wt setup.
You Get What You Pay For, But This Reel Does a Great Job.

I bought this as a Back-up reel. I have a few "˜Big Name' fishing rods and reels, but most of my equipment is moderate level gear. I do not believe that expensive gear automatically makes you a better fisherman.
I read the reviews for this product, and was concerned with the comments that the clicker sound was missing or very low, I too like to hear a screaming reel of a big fish. I bought the reel anyway, and guess what, the clicker IS horrible ( can barely hear it). Do I regret my purchase? No. The reel is made well for its price point. The drag is smooth and effective, and while I prefer a louder clicker sound, I more appreciate my confidence that the drag system is doing the same job as my "˜more expensive' reels. I fished a hard week in Montana this spring using this reel most of the time. I was so impressed, I ordered an additional reel so I can have several different line weights available without "˜Breaking the Bank.'
I am not a Label Snob, and am practical with my fishing budget. I like the fit, finish, and Function of this reel, and for its price point you can't go wrong

I've never used a fly reel for anything but storing line. But I decided to fight my first fish I hooked into using the Piscifun reel and it worked like a champ. I love it.
