My 1 year old decided to jump from the balcony to the tile floor below...obviously he overrated his ability...broke his hip bone and had to have extreme surgery to fix. We now consider him our latest "investment"!! He needed help during his extensive recovery, to get on his beloved bed. After much research I decided to get this one and it's better than the rigid ones for surgery rehab. Very soft but firm enough to give a good foothold. The manufacturer promised a $15 gift card if I reviewed the product. I will update when received.
