I don't drive enough to keep my battery charged but this "starter" allows a dead battery to start the car. It works great, I love it and it ranks up there as one of the best purchases I've ever made. No woman who travels alone should ever be without one of these. Better than AAA. Comes in a neat case with easy to follow instructions. You can keep it charged on full at home with the inclosed AC adapter. Great choice, great product.

I liked the $60 prime day price, and it comes with a case. It's small enough to fit in a glove box, but belongs in the trunk.
I waited til I used it to review the product, and so far I like it.
Had a 4runner with a dead battery, put this small charger on it and, without waiting at all, I started the vehicle...it started right up.
For one start of a 3.8L V6 engine, the charge went from 100% to 88%. So, if each start is the same, it would last 8 starts without needing to be recharged.
I bought another one to keep in the garage, and when the solar charged battery on driveway gate was dead, I used this charger to put on the battery to open the gate. Much easier than disconnecting the gate and manually opening the gate to get to work. And could just put a charger on it later.
Plan to buy more as gifts.

What first caught my eye was it had a stand by time of 24 months and a 2 year warranty. My van had a dead battery due to non-use. I am apprehensive using jumper cables hooked to another running car. Out of the box, the digital display showed 75% which I then charged to 100%. This jump starter worked flawlessly as I was able to jump my van by myself on the first try. I didn't have to use the boost feature but glad it exists.
