It took me longer to connect the coax connection to the back of my flat screen than it did to program all the channels. It started slow and I thought, this will be going back. After like 10-15 seconds of scanning it started to pickup channels. I got over 75 air channels and over 200 from my Samsung TV channels, which I was only aware of a few. Did not put the antenna by a window (maybe 5-6ft away) and reception is good. I moved it closer to the TV and you could see the picture going, so maybe you have do have to have it near a window. The cable it brings is long enough that I can place it on the windowsill, but would need to play around keeping the cable closeto the wall and not visible. Overall I've had it 15 minutes and am happy...so far.

This antenna works pretty well if placed well. I believe my problem with certain channels has to do with the awnings I have. Definitely worth the price and the slim design and longer cord gives flexibility with placement.

The antenna would only work on one of our 3 TV's. This because there was no way to remove the amplifier and I was getting TOO MUCH SIGNAL. I thought I didn't have enough signal coming in sometimes because I was getting a "no signal" message on the TV but I actually had too much signal and the receiver was blocking it. When I used a antenna WITH OUT AN AMPLIFIER everything was good again.

I like the design of this antenna much more than the giant mouse pad that I have taped to a wall in another room. The magnet attached to the base was a great added feature and it fits perfectly on top of the metal curtain rod. I'm cutting the cord soon and streaming though the internet. My wife wanted local news channels, and this was the perfect option for us. With our Prime Video, Netflix and Disney, we will have enough to watch.
