These pickups are a great value for the quality. I have another LP with SD pickups and other than being a bit hotter, they add no more value for double the price of these. Can be clean, can be mean, your choice.

I bought these to replace the original pickups in my Starshine Explorer, the originals had bad feed back on my Fender Hot Rod DeVille 4x10, I installed these and it cured the horrible feed back, they sound very nice and were easy to install, 4 wire with 2 wires pre soldered for 2 wire installation, the puckups have different colored wire harnesses for ID, bridge is Black, Neck is Grey, also comes with a wire diagram for the pickup,
I will buy again.
Update, Bought another pair of these in Chrome for the Red Wine Hafagita SG I bought here on Amazon, the original stock pickups were noisy and feeding back a lot, so since I bought a pair of these for the Explorer and love them, I thought they would go good in the SG, YES it sounds Awesome and no feed back, I looked at the stock ones and they weren't Wax potted, gives the SG that Vintage sound, 60's 70's tones great for AC/DC, Sabbath, and more, I will buy more.
I will buy again.

Dropped these in a project guitar w/ push pulls for coil tap, phase and serial/parallel. Bohn pots and orange 47uf caps. Duncans theyre not, but I'm pleased so far. They're reasonably non microphonic, resistance is as listed, and wax potted.
