All but one of my children have worked at (or still work at) the local skating rink. We've had a family member employed there solidly for almost 20 years.

Roller blades that can grow with your kid. If you are a parent, you know how quickly your child's foot can grow. I remember we had bought my two youngest daughters some skates when they were like 5 and 7 years old and they outgrew them within the first year. With these roller blades, the toe portion is separated from the heel section and can be slid back and forth using a button to find the exact size needed. The shoe size of my 3 kids are size 7, 8, and 9 and one pair of these skates can accommodate any of the 3. They are versatile, durable, and kids say that they are comfortable. They wheels are good for smooth concrete or slightly rougher surfaces like blacktop.
