I was hesitant at first because I didn't think it would be true. I set it up, took about 2 minutes and voila it was up and running. It is so light, so easy to set up and the picture quality is exceptional. I was about to get a simple 10 channel plan from cable company for over $50/month. This is a no brainer. This has more channels and it's phenomenal. It has all my local channels and when it's not moving, it's perfect. Couldn't be happier. I also love that it comes with a double sided tape to attach to the wall if you don't want to drill into the wall.

Make no mistake believing small antennas can be very sensitive. It goes against the laws of physics and those laws can't be broken.
A large antenna will provide a bigger incursion of the radiated signal and 'collect' more. You need to start off with sufficient signal to be able to amplify it. Amplifying a signal that's not there will give you nothing, irrespective of how good the amplifier might be.
A multi-element is always better, but the elements have to sit in front of the receiving element. The passive elements help increase an antennas sensitivity, at the cost of making it more directional. You have to point it in the direction of the transmitter to be useful. But multiple reflecting elements make for a large structure, and that is not this antenna.
Having digital signals helps a lot. You need less signal to be able to amplify it, and the signal is less likely to become further corrupted by amplification, so there is a distinct advantage that is far superior to the old analog transmissions.
Having understood this, I bought this one for occasional use anyway, and it is as good as I was hoping. It picks up a few TV channels when inside the house, and standing vertically. It will probably be better in a window that faces towards the transmitter.
I'm happy with it, because my expectations were not that high. If you have similarly low expectations then I recommend this product.

This antenna works great. I had a flat Antenna but got rid of it because of the pixelations I kept getting.
This one I don't even have to hang on a wall or place on top of my tv stand console. I actually have it inside the cabinet so no wires show. It works great. Even have a rain storm going on right now and it still is crystal clear. Very Happy with this. I can now watch local channels in HD!

Hooked this up in under 5 minutes. After channel scanning I ended up with 80 channels (LA basin). Some of the less know channels had some pixilation, All of the network channels that were digital came in great. This antenna works much better than the flat panel un boosted antennas that I have used before, at not a lot more cost. Highly recommended.
