These interlocking grass mats are quality and they look so realistic! I have purchased a few others prior and the quality isn't as good.
These can be used to spruce up various area's indoors or outdoors.
I used 1/2 on my deck, and the other 1/2 I made an area where my two small dogs can do their business under the carport when the weather is bad. Super easy to clean!

Expensive, But Good for Small Decks and Balconies

These grass tiles are terrific, especially if used for small areas like balconies, lanai's, or small decks. They snapped together easily, and stay connected best if used on level, relatively hard ground.
If you want to install them in an area like a section of yard, just make sure that the ground is level, compact, and has minimal flex. The more flexibility underneath the tiles, the more likely they are to come apart or disconnect.
They are a bit pricey, but I've yet to find snap-together grass tiles that aren't somewhat expensive. These are about the same price as other grass tiles, so I assume there is a certain baseline cost to manufacturing them.
The grass effect looks good, especially at a distance. It doesn't look exactly like real grass, but it looks significantly better than typical grass carpet, or the type of turf you would find at a miniature golf course for instance.
Drainage is good, so this is especially hopeful if you're trying to build a small pet area for house training.
I'm happy with them for what they are. I wouldn't use them for a large area, but for small areas, they actually look pretty cool and are much more practical than trying to plant real grass.

Soft, realistic, and easy to clean but don't lock into place well

The interlocking mechanism isn't the best. It doesn't ideally click together the way it should and they come apart again really easily while you're trying to set it up. Sometimes the grass also gets in the way and makes it hard to click them together. The quality of the artificial turf itself is good. It's soft, relatively realistic looking, and easy to clean. It does shed a bit more than I would like, but isn't an obnoxious amount.
Looks quite real when combed with a rake

I like the turf because it really looks real. I do think the locking interface could be better. It works, but it works best if the area it is being used on is completely flat. We are using it at the bottom stair of the pool ladder to help people get debris off their feet before entering the pool. Because it is on the ground, the water can cause it to sink in a bit. It works decently where we have it and does what we want it to do, but it occasionally comes apart because the locking mechanism isn't super strong. If you are using it on a cement or brick surface of a patio where it abuts walls, it would be better for the locking mechanism and, in such an application, I can see how it would not come apart. Use a rake to fluff the grass and you won't see the seams between each section.
Look like real grass

These look like real grass! Lay the squares out first so that you can see the direction of the grass and make sure they're all going in the same direction, or else it will look like a checkerboard. The snap together easily, unlike some others I've gotten. I like these on the plastic frame so that they are up off the ground a little and I can hose them off easily and the water will drain through. I'm using them for a spot for the dog to go potty, so she's trained to one spot. Also can use these in the muddy area around the back porch, making it easier to walk into the yard. And I don't have to mow it.
