I did not receive a user manual in the box - so, I appreciate Michael F.'s review with the pictures. Other: there are plenty of YouTube videos that explain how to properly "install a ceiling with remote". The low-profile design (40" diameter - a drop of 8") is ideal for a small room (10x12 feet in my case, 8 feet to ceiling). The light choices are soft up to crazy bright; the airflow is above expectation and quiet at high speeds. VERY SATISFIED with this purchase.
>>PROS>Plastic blades will last 100 years - without concern for mold and moisture breaking-down the fibers or rotting wood joints. Also, polymers are easier to clean with heavy solvents. Disposal: recycle to a future 3D printer (idk)?

Works well. Lots of speeds, but slowest is still quite fast. The blades feel like rather cheap plastic, but should do the job of moving air. Other fans have option of switching from wall. Need to use the remote control as switch just applies power.

Needed a low profile remote-controlled fan to replace a pull-chain-operated fan on our porch. The previous one was a Hampton Bay, with a decorative bowl shape that was just perfect for wasps to build nests in, but unfortunately, my kids don't like being stung by wasps, so it had to go. And as they're not 6 feet tall yet, they couldn't reach the pull chains to operate the wired (no wall switch) fans.
I installed 2 of these in a couple hours one afternoon and installation was very easy. Reprogrammed both to operate on one remote. No wobble, no issues so far, and no more wasps!

I researched a lot of smaller room ceiling fans read the reviews on all then made the decision to purchase this one and I love it! So far works perfectly, easy install incredibly quiet at ALL speeds. The light is awesome at all color choices and dimming options. I also wanted the fan to blend into the room and not be a focal point and this fan definitely blends in. If I could I would replace all of my ceiling fans with these!!!
