Paint chips off easily

So cute. I put it in my pet memorial garden. Only thing is the paint chips easily. I have have to paint mine after a year and will need to be painted at end of season again. I easily converted mine to solar since I didn't have a plug near by and works great, just no lights since the pump only has 1 connector. Thats ok since I only use it during the days so you can't see the lights anyway.
