I've had this cable in use pulling logs out of the forest and also pulled some medium-size stumps out of the ground with the tractor and some snatch blocks. Overall, it's pretty much like you would expect from a basic steel cable. The swivel hook on one end seems to be a good quality, although it is just barely too small to fit over the 7/8" D shackles that I have. The cable came delivered in great shape with no defects. For me, the length is just about right when combined with a snatch block and the tractor or a winch, so overall, I am very happy with it.

This cable look plenty strong and well-crafted. But I would have liked it to have hooks on both ends, as I plan to use this to pull other cars/trucks out of ditches or snowbanks. So I ordered a "D" ring shackle to use on the other end. Once I have an opportunity to pull somebody out, I'll post an update.

This is a total beast. It couldn't be more solid and heavy-duty. It can stab you pretty easily though, so watch out and maybe wear gloves.

Though I would prefer to have a hook on both ends, in lieu of just one and a larger sized hook it is perfectly made. This can be used for many different things. We will be using it to pull a 10,000lb truck from one location to another and I'm definte that this thing will not be letting us down. I think we will be testing it out to remove a few stumps out of our front yard that we've struggled with for years.
It has more than one use! Haha

So first and foremost- THIS IS STRONG. THIS WORKS WELL. Durability is out of this world. Its a trustworthy piece of equipment.
Now. Having said that my mind doesn't work the same as most lol. I immediately thought "this would be perfect tk keep my sunshades up." The steel rope has been holding my carport/sunroof perfectly since the day we cinched it up and said "were done!" Before that, I'm not kidding every single day my carport was falling apart. Thanks to these heavy duty ropes, this ain't going nowhere.
