Fun training tool but not for beginners

This product was so easy to use, and fun! I put it on my stick and did some drills, it does take some getting used to -the rebound comes back really fast and the ball feels like an actual field hockey ball (so its not soft) when it hits you if you miss! This was a little too fast for my 5/6 grade girls-they would pass the ball and it would shoot back into their legs as they missed the rebound. My older daughter brought it to her high school practice and they loved it! Bottom line-its a great concept and a great product, a snap to put securely on your stick and a great training tool, but its probably not for beginners.

My 8th grade granddaughter just started playing field hockey. This is an excellent trainer to develop her stick handling and dribbling skills. Setup is easy and she can take the ball to practice before the training session begins. Overall, this is a really good field hockey training ball to improve ball and stick handling skills for field hockey players of all ages.
