I like the optics on the Hawkray laser golf finder better, but for the money this still gets a good rating. I checked the accuracy against my $200 range finder and it is just as accurate. I'm keeping one in my chainsaw bag to use the figure tree height and where the safest place to fell a tree. I like that the angle shows continuously as you move the finder up. The object speed thing takes a bit of work to use it right, but once you do it seems to do what it says. As always, read the instructions.

It has everything you want in a rangefinder, the ability to scan constantly to check as the range changes, angle of attack changes in yardage, distance to target...the one thing I wish it did have that it doesn't is lighted reticle. For the cost though it is an AMAZING piece of machinery.

So far this thing is just awesome. I've been using it several times a week for almost 2 months and have only recently had to charge the batteries. This range finder is literally about 10 times more accurate and convenient for shooting than those digital range finders for golf. Makes sense. But this one is affordable and has been working great. Very user friendly and already comes in camouflage print so I don't need to wrap it with rolls of sticky flexible camouflage which is nice. This is the first range finder I've felt comfortable with recommending to others.

This is exactly what I needed. I've been looking for an affordable range finder for quite awhile now, but was hesitant to purchase a cheap one worried about the quality. This one however works great at an affordable price. It works just as well if not better than my friends $400 range finder. I definitely recommend it!

What a great range finder. I was very surprised at how compact and light this thing was upon opening the package. It has a great look and feel and is very easy to use. I don't have a yard wheel to actually test the accuracy, but judging by rough estimations it seemed to perform quite well. Having the +/- angle as part of the calculation will also be vital for calculations on those long shots. It also has a secondary mode of measuring the speed of a moving object. I attempted to try that one one out as well, but I think I need to practice that one a bit more. It takes the measurement quickly, so if your aiming movement is slightly faster or slower than the object during the split second you hit the button while trying to measure, it won't be accurate. To me, it's a "nice to have" feature but not one I expect to use much unless taking aim a deer several hundred yards out with time enough to calculate the lead on a shot before it moves out of range. Also, you can't change the speed measurement to use mph; the only option is kmh.
The only thing I would wish for on this is some sort of mounting ability. It's very difficult to hold the crosshairs on small targets - especially those up to 1200 yards out, as it boasts it can do. Having a bolt hole or something that would allow me to place it on something steady would make a big difference.
Still, I'm quite pleased with it for the price. That's very hard to beat.
