Great! Affordable Wireless Dog Fence System

We have a 12mo old Western Highland puppy who is notorious for getting into trouble. Recently we moved to a home where the covenant disallows the use of fencing which is very problematic for a puppy that likes to run and is nearly impossible to catch. After several incidents of him escaping, we were at our wits end on what to do. Desperate, I purchased this device and we couldn't be more please.
We put the collar on him when it's time to go outside and he is very aware and content of the freedom he has within the perimeter. Our hope is that in time we can take the collar off and he will just remain in the area. Overall, we just love this device and it has been everything we could have hoped for. No digging, or buried lines, no real install, just plug in and use the dial to change the size of your circle. I will warn you to be mindful of your pet with the device on. Yesterday I took our puppy into the garage and front yard and when my wife came home he eagerly jumped into her car to greet our girls. Even though he was within the permitted area, I think the metal and mass of the car blocked the device and he got a little jolt which had him hightailing back inside the house. This device will work with any size dog and if you are patient when setting up your perimeter you and your pet will find new freedoms and peace when your pet is outside running free.

In the first place when the customer service told me this wireless system was easy to set up, I did not believe in her as there were 6 or 5 items involved. I am always a headache of dealing with the tools despite I'm a man...emm because I'm interested in music and seldom do I have a chance to get touch with these devices. Yeah.. To my surprise, it was really easy to install this system when I asked my brother to help me. Emm help, not assist, Hhhhh. But now I can re-set it alone because after I saw how my brother did, then I think it is as easy as using a new fool camera.
Large power for fun

Here I'd like to point out the power of the battery is sufficient to use, at least for me. The rechargeable collar will last a long time roughly 8 hours for each charge, which is enough to do the games with my little girl dog Mimi, a two months golden retriever, in the afternoon. I did had the other containment systems and found that some products could not support our game time during the whole afternoon. That was awkward. We have to limit our activities because of the stupid collar with small power. By the way, I have no traditional fence like an iron fence or plastic fence, so I have to keep her at home for safety. After that, I had to try different wireless fences, and after 3 selection, I decided to keep this one and return the rest of the two other brands.

This is a great alternative if you don't want to hassle with burying the wire. I trained my 2 years old Golden Retriever with this in less than 2 weeks. I had this setup and operational within an hour which included setting the desired range finding the "sweet" spot in the house to place it and placing the flags. This puts a 360"¢ circle around your perimeter so keep that in mind when deciding between this and a wired system.
It was able to easily take this along on a weekend trip and use it in a strange location for my puppy with no problems. I can't comment on the battery life yet, but 5month and it still works (a rechargeable battery would be nice) but if your dog does not test the boundary and the collar is not activated the battery seems to last a lot longer.
In conclusion, I like most people were very skeptical about this product but I am very happy with the decision to try it.

A good way to contain my dogs

I was iffy about getting this, unsure if it would work on our hound/husky 7-month-old puppy who gets really hyper, at times, but it does. It took us about two weeks of training every day so he'd know the boundaries before we took him off his lead and used the collar, only, but we expected that with his temperament. As much as I hated to shock him, but it's better than having him get hit by a car on our busy street. After getting shocked once on that setting, he goes nowhere near the boundaries, now. It's given him freedom we wouldn't have been able to give him with a small fenced in area. I was worried that if it stopped working due to a power outage that he'd take off, but he makes no effort to escape our yard, so I don't worry as much, now. The battery lasts for days without charging, as well, with us cutting it off at night while he's on his lead. I put the main unit right above our basement door in our bedroom floor next to an outside wall/window and there's no interference that I've noticed.
