This is my first time purchasing an ice maker. Went with a cheaper model just to see if it was worth having one. It is worth it. My only issue with this ice maker is the ice doesn't seem to completely freeze. It's super wet and is melting in the basket. I don't know if this is what it's designed to do but I feel like the ice melts quickly in a glass because it's not cold enough. But for $45 its serving its purpose.

I got this ice maker as I recently had VSG surgery. I wanted a way to quickly make flavored ice. This thing makes 2 different size ice cubes in about 6 minutes per batch. My kids are huge ice fans and love helping me make ice as well.

Got one to try out and far exceeded my expectations! Easy to use, makes lots of ice and pays for itself quickly. So much better than running out to buy ice so often. Refrigerator ice makers use to make lots of ice and had huge containers, not anymore, now one is lucky to a small container within the freezer and takes lot longer to make ice. I love this thing!
