Quality of this gearbox looks to be top notch, and the black with red anodized accents is really impressive in person. First time I assembled the gearbox, it felt as if the gears were sticking at certain points so I loosened it, and re-tightened, but that didn't help. Finally, I took it all back apart and cleaned the grease out out of case and gears. I then bathed the gears in 100% alcohol and scrubbed them with a toothbrush. Now after reassembling a third time it runs perfectly, so my guess is that there were some tiny shavings from machining left over.
