Makes pasta making easy
Chef Frank✓ Verified Purchase•October 28, 2023
Good machine that is easy to use. Solid construction, easy to clean. I'm a chef and make a lot of pasta. My only wish for this is more capacity. This being said, the ones that handle more volume have a much higher price tag
Simple Operation

I'm still on the fence about recommending this pasta maker. It's large, it's heavy, it's expensive. Unless you make pasta several times a week, you've got to have the pantry space for it. The accessories can be stored inside the machine, so that's a plus. There is a storage drawer in the machine that holds all but one die, which you leave attached to the machine.
I've used the machine once, and ended up tossing out my first batch of dough. The recipe section was a little unclear to me, and I added too much liquid and my dough would not push through the extruder. I used King Arthur Pasta Flour blend, so when reading the instructions I wasn't sure how much water to use since it's different if you're using wheat or semolina flour. My second try was successful. I used the traditional spaghetti die, and the pasta came out perfect.
I do wish it came with a larger selection of dies for shapes like shells or elbows. The closest you get to those shapes is penne. The focus here seems to all be on longer types of pasta. The machine makes about four servings at a time. You can make several batches, and dry your pasta for future use.
Clean up was quick and easy. The parts are dishwasher safe. The blending bar has a non-stick coating and pretty much just wipes clean. I did need to use the included tools to dig out the dried pasta dough from the die. There is a small pin tool, and a little brush.
If you've got the space and budget, this is a fun gadget to have, and will impress your dinner guests.

easy way to make fresh pasta. But make sure you get the ratio of flour to water right. I find the instructions confusing. When they say "cup" they must be referring to the cup provided & not a measuring cup. Unless you make pasta several times a week, you've got to have the pantry space for it. There is a storage drawer in the machine that holds all but one die, which you leave attached to the machine. It will not dispense with all the dough or even any of the dough on its own if you are doing a half load you can though just put the dough in the extractor area your self and it will squeeze out the pasta just as you like it.
So far, I’m loving this!

Such an easy way to make fresh pasta. But make sure you get the ratio of flour to water right. I find the instructions confusing. When they say "cup" they must be referring to the cup provided & not a measuring cup. I'm still experimenting, but the mixture must be dry for it to be extruded. I've wasted dough two times already. But once I get it, it should be a breeze!
Lots of pieces but still easier than a pasta roller or the Kitchen Aid attachment. Bon Appetit!

Love it so far!

We've used it twice and it's as advertised. Just add your ingredients and you get fresh pasta in less than 10 minutes.
